Rowing Director & Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher to join our teaching staff and take on the additional responsibility of Rowing Director.

Alongside their teaching role, the successful applicant will lead our large and highly successful rowing programme. Over the past six years, Cashmere rowing has grown significantly in both participation and performance, establishing a strong culture and an impressive record of achievement.
We are looking for someone excited by the opportunity to build on this legacy and continue taking the programme forward. The successful applicant will bring energy, organisation, strong relationship skills and a genuine desire to develop young people and further strengthen rowing at Cashmere High School.
Previous rowing coaching or leadership experience would be an advantage, although we are equally interested in applicants with the capability, ambition and potential to grow into the role.
Additional remuneration and release time will accompany the Rowing Director responsibility, with details negotiable depending on the successful applicant’s experience.
This is a full-time, permanent position beginning on 28 January 2027.
